Cognitive Demand Planning
Cognitive Demand Planning radically re-shapes the foundational process of demand planning by combining extensible machine learning (ML) and statistical techniques to generate a high-quality, mix-and-match forecast that improves the planner productivity and helps reduce supply chain costs. The solution provides a consolidated view of demand-related information, supporting collaborative consensus demand planning workflows across marketing, sales, and operations teams. This allows those teams visibility into numerous demand plan aspects, considering the various internal and external input sources that impact demand planning.

Reconcile across any dimension using disaggregation service
The reconcile service inherits values from higher-level Demand Forecasting Units (DFU) to lower-level DFUs, including dates, measures (like price or promotion), parameters (like lead time), or computed measures. In addition to this, the values from source measure can be disaggregated to target measure based on what’s allocated respecting the date effectivity.
- Support partial week demand planning
This new capability generates ML and time series forecasts for partial weeks by breaking down a full week's forecast (which spans across two months) and dividing it into two partial weeks which extends across two months. The UI also supports viewing and managing the forecast in this way.
Omni-Channel Commerce
In the omni-channel space, Blue Yonder introduces several key enhancements in Intelligent Rebalancer and Fulfillment Sourcing Simulator. These updates collectively enhance operational efficiency and decision-making across the supply chain.
Intelligent Rebalancer
Intelligent Rebalancer is a new capability that provides swift, automatic order execution in response to supply and demand disruptions. It is designed to quickly ingest new information and, in near real-time, reallocate inventory and fulfillment processes following a disruption. Our key value drivers are the ability to adjust order execution based on current data rather than planned needs, as well as the ability to prioritize and sequence orders based on configurable rules for each customer.

Priority configuration
The config [user interface (UI)] screen is developed to create the priority configuration for the event qualifier and job. The screen has features to add/delete/modify the priority sequence configurations which get linked to rebalancer event qualifier and jobs. Users also can add new attributes to the configuration and once the custom attribute is added from the backend it will get reflected on the UI automatically.

Filter demand status
Filter line items for specific demand status when rebalancing is happening on a certain event type. For example, it can prevent a particular event type/disruption from pulling demands on certain status even when there is a rebalancing level order in place. This should also handle partial quantities. This is an advancement over the base feature to give more flexibility to pull demands.

Integration with exception console
Exception console integration will help the deployment and operations team to handle exceptions better. An additional benefit of integration is the ability to handle the retriable errors through the console for rebalancing.
Fulfillment Sourcing Simulator
Fulfillment Sourcing Simulator is an add-on SKU to Blue Yonder Commits Service that serves as a digital twin for fulfillment sourcing decision making. It allows for simulation of different order fulfillment scenarios, with and without capacity constraints, by providing precise inventory timelines across the network based on the simulator's decisions. The tool enables configuration of rules based on business objectives and helps understand trade-offs between competing objectives. Users can apply new rules in real time and test multiple what-if scenarios against historical data to select the most optimal alternatives.
Key features include situation room team collaboration tools, KPI roll-up and drill-down capabilities, continuous feedback integration with commerce suite, and a secure digital twin environment for experimentation.

Handle concurrent simulations
This enhancement will enable the user to run concurrent simulations instead of having to wait for the previous one to be completed before triggering a new simulation. The number of parallel order lines that can run in concurrent simulations should be less than the monthly threshold.

View monthly threshold limit
This enhancement will enable the user to view their monthly threshold limit (available limit and utilized limit) on the landing page. The user will be restricted from creating any new simulation if the threshold is breached.
Warehouse Management
In the warehouse management space, Blue Yonder introduces new capabilities in Warehouse Tasking and Yard Management. These updates collectively enhance operational efficiency and flexibility.
Warehouse Tasking
Blue Yonder Warehouse Tasking is a cloud-native solution that intelligently optimizes warehouse work by incorporating near real-time information regarding due dates, resource capabilities, and physical location of inventory to dynamically orchestrate tasks to available resources. The system integrates with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management solutions to streamline deployment and deliver efficiency improvements to meet site deadlines.

Assignment for VNA
Customers can now utilize and benefit from Warehouse Tasking's assignment functionality in facilities and zones that utilize VNA trucks. Many Blue Yonder customers have facilities that are set up with VNAs and utilize VNA trucks. These customers have configurated settings in WMS to reflect the access limitations of VNAs. Warehouse Tasking can now determine the optimal task to present operators that request directed work minimizing the risk of shipment delays with automated task support for VNA trucks.
Yard Management
Yard Management is a computer-vision-based solution that uses cameras, object recognition and ML to automate gate-check activities. It helps logistics service providers, manufacturers, and retailers automate, monitor, and centralize yard operations for greater throughput, fewer lost loads, and decreased fees. It integrates with Blue Yonder Warehouse Management.

Accelerated inbound delivery performance and outbound service levels
This enhancement to Yard Management enables the linking of transportation equipment with shipment information in warehouse management during gate arrival and departure. The in-the-moment connection of Yard Management with Warehouse Management data automatically updates each system and provides flexibility to enable our customers' unique workflows, eliminating work hours.
