Logistics Service Providers (LSPs) work in a tough, competitive market characterized by low margins, short customer contracts, highly variable customer demand and a limited labor pool. That is the key finding of recent research on the LSP industry conducted by Fraunhofer Institute for Material Flow and Logistics.
