Darren Saumur

President, Customer Experience and Cloud

Darren Saumur is the President, Customer Experience and Cloud of Blue Yonder. In this role, his sole focus is on helping our customers realize the full value from Blue Yonder’s solutions and ensuring their digital transformations are successful.

Most recently he served as the Global Chief Operating Officer at Genpact, a global professional services firm. There, he led a team of 100,000 global services workforce, responsible for 12,000 digital and technology consulting resources, 15,000 analytics and AI resources, and 73,000 operation professionals.

A key part of his leadership role was driving the overall innovation agenda for Genpact’s clients, as well as modernizing the company’s operations and services, increasing efficiency in the company’s growing operations, and optimizing technology enablement. The business nearly doubled in the four years he was at the company. His global organization was focused on over 7,700 business processes (including supply chain forecasting planning and execution) for hundreds of Fortune 500 companies. He and his team successfully transformed clients’ businesses digitally and improve their financial performance using the latest digital technologies, analytics, in-depth domain expertise, and operational excellence.

He previously spent 14 years at two software companies, which included SAP, and was also a partner at Ernst & Young (EY). While at EY, he completed his first i2 Technologies (now Blue Yonder) project. During his almost 10 years at SAP, he led the Strategic Industries business for North America, North America Consulting and the Financial Services Sector globally. Here, he worked extensively with ecosystem partners to sell and implement large-scale SaaS deals.

Darren’s north star is centered around customer success by building and growing a world-class team and delivering and exceeding expectations. His leadership philosophy centers around driving positive change through technology to transformation and drive disruptive innovation.

Darren holds a Commerce degree from the University of Toronto and is a certified CPA in Canada. He lives in Toronto, Canada, with his wife and son. Darren is a self-professed rock star and owns more than 50 guitars.
