How can we do better? This is Sue Savage’s personal mantra and a fitting one, given her role as Chief Financial Officer at Blue Yonder.

Sue and her team partner with every area of the business as Blue Yonder helps customers with their digital transformations. She drives all aspects of Blue Yonder's finance operations including financial strategy, planning and analysis, accounting, tax, treasury, and investor relations. Sue believes in a culture of collaboration, innovation and operational excellence for Blue Yonder's global finance and accounting teams.

Sue joined Blue Yonder after 17 years at Fortune 500 technology pioneer Autodesk, a multi-national software corporation where she was a key player in the company’s business transformation from perpetual license to a subscription-based model. Earlier in her career, Sue held positions at Digital Island, Electronic Arts, AirTouch Communications and Coopers & Lybrand. She holds a Bachelor of Business Administration, Accounting degree from the University of Texas at Austin.

An avid reader, Sue aspires to one day read 50 books per year. Her dream job one day? To own a bookstore. Other hobbies include trying to tire out her chocolate Labrador Retriever with hiking or other outdoor activities and almost any kind of live music.

  1. How do you give back to your community?
    I recently joined the board of the Colten Caldwell Foundation in Arizona focused on the transformative power of compassion by giving families with disabilities or terminal conditions one-of-a-kind experiences that are awe-inspiring and deeply meaningful.
  2. In your view, how do supply chains save the world?
    Historically, supply chains have not been on the radar for many consumers, including me before I joined Blue Yonder. COVID-19 has changed all of that. We’ve now all been impacted in one way or another by supply chain disruptions. Improving the performance of the supply chain can be lifesaving in turbulent times, which can literally save the world.
  3. What excites you most about working at Blue Yonder?
    Being part of the digital transformation of an industry leader (Blue Yonder!).
  4. How would you describe yourself in three words?
    Curious. Unfiltered. Driven.
